Tyranny for Me, Not for Thee

Tyranny for Me, Not for Thee

Remember when “resistance” was all the rage?

You know, back when people took selfies at protests holding signs that said “Resist Tyranny”—right before posting them from their iPhones while sipping Starbucks and live-tweeting about fascism because a Republican president had tweeted something mean.

That version of tyranny was easy. It didn’t cost them anything. It meant yelling in the street, hashtagging “#NotMyPresident,” and knitting a pink hat.

But then something real happened. Something that required an actual stance—something messy, inconvenient, and not curated by a nonprofit with a catchy slogan.

And just like that, the brave rebels turned into bootlickers overnight.

From ‘My Body, My Choice’ to ‘Take the Shot, Bigot’

Let’s rewind to 2021.

The same people who once screamed about government overreach suddenly became obsessed with enforcing vaccine mandates. They weren’t just encouraging people to get vaccinated—they were demanding it. With a ferocity that would make any tyrant proud.

Suddenly, “My body, my choice” came with an asterisk:
Only if you’re terminating a pregnancy. Not if you're questioning Big Pharma.

If you dared to hesitate—even just asked a question—you were labeled “anti-science,” “a threat to public health,” or “literally killing grandma.”

Millions of Americans were told to take an experimental shot—or lose their jobs. Lose access to their schools. Lose their ability to travel, gather, or even go to church. And the same people who once said they’d “never trust a Trump vaccine” suddenly wanted it injected into children, twice, and then again, just to be safe.

Compliance Disguised as Compassion

The most stunning part wasn’t the government overreach—it was how quickly people demanded it.

Your neighbor? Wanted you fired.
Your cousin? Said the unvaccinated shouldn’t get hospital beds.
That liberal coworker who brought cupcakes to work every Monday? She spent her weekends tweeting that the unvaxxed should be banned from grocery stores.

Not a parody. Not a stretch. They meant it. Some even wanted jail time.

They weaponized fear like professionals. But instead of wearing uniforms, they wore “In This House We Believe” yard signs and rainbow masks.

Because apparently if the tyranny has a friendly logo, it’s fine.

The Experts Became the Priests

They didn’t want a discussion. They wanted obedience.

If you asked why Pfizer got legal immunity, you were a crank.
If you mentioned natural immunity, you were “spreading misinformation.”
If you cited actual scientists—top epidemiologists with decades of experience—you were dangerous.

They didn’t want debate. They wanted silence.

And let’s not forget the media’s role. Entire platforms banned dissenting voices. Doctors were deplatformed. Researchers were smeared. Even vaccine-injured people were told to shut up and stop scaring others.

Because the science wasn’t a process. It was a brand. And questioning the brand was blasphemy.

Mandates for Thee, Exemptions for Me

While everyday people were being fired from their jobs and locked out of society, the ruling class exempted themselves.

Members of Congress? Exempt.
Illegal immigrants crossing the border by the tens of thousands every week? No vaccine requirement.

But if you were a nurse who worked 14-hour shifts during the worst of the pandemic and didn’t want the jab? You were tossed out like trash.

No pension. No respect. Just pink-slipped and labeled a threat to society.

Because nothing says “public health” like firing frontline workers in the middle of a staffing crisis.

Paper, Please

They mocked you for comparing it to 1930s Europe.

They said you were dramatic for pointing out that asking people to “show your papers” was dystopian.

But they literally created digital vaccine passports—government-endorsed documents showing your compliance level. You had to flash them to get into restaurants, concerts, and gyms.

And if you didn’t have them? You were turned away. Publicly shamed. Treated like a leper.

Some cities banned unvaccinated people from buying food indoors.

Let that sink in. The same crowd that screams about “food deserts” and “systemic oppression” built an actual system of segregation—and cheered.

Media Memory Hole

Now, with the mandates gone and the narrative collapsing faster than Fauci’s credibility, they want to pretend it never happened.

They deleted tweets. Changed definitions. Updated guidance quietly—without apology, without reflection, without accountability.

They don’t want to talk about:

  • The myocarditis in healthy young men

  • The blood clots

  • The boosters that didn’t stop transmission

  • The fact that people who got four shots still got COVID three times

  • The thousands of small businesses ruined by restrictions

  • The teens who committed suicide after two years of isolation

They want you to forget. Move on. Trust them again next time.

And they will try it again.

The Resistance Was Never Against Tyranny—Just the Wrong Tyrant

The biggest lie of all was the slogan itself.

“Resist Tyranny.”

They didn’t mean it. They never did.

They were never resisting tyranny—they were resisting Trump. They were resisting people who think differently. They were resisting you.

As soon as they were the ones holding the whip, they used it without hesitation.

They didn’t just comply with tyranny. They demanded it. They enforced it. They celebrated it. They enjoyed it.

Because it gave them something they crave: power over others, disguised as moral superiority.

The Next Emergency Will Be Worse

They’ve learned how easy it is now.

Scare the public.
Crush dissent.
Call it “science.”
Divide people.
Create second-class citizens.
Blame them for everything.
Then act shocked when society starts to crumble.

They’ll do it again. Over climate. Over energy. Over AI. Over “disinformation.” Doesn’t matter what the emergency is. All they need is fear, and a scapegoat.

And they’ll wrap it in a rainbow flag and say, “This is for your safety.”

Never Forget Who They Were

It wasn’t just the government.

It was your employer.
It was your university.
It was your friends.
It was your neighbors.
It was celebrities who made TikToks singing “get vaccinated” while you lost your livelihood.
It was corporations that made record profits while silencing you for asking questions.
It was influencers who mocked you for not complying.

They all want to pretend they were “just following orders.” That they “didn’t know.”

They knew.

And they liked it.

Conclusion: Keep the Receipts

Don’t let them memory-hole this. Don’t let them rewrite history. Don’t let them rehabilitate their images.

They were the petty tyrants.
The COVID Karens.
The mask Nazis.
The compliance police.
The mandate mob.

They called you selfish, stupid, and dangerous—for defending your rights.

Now they want unity.

Forgiveness.

Healing.

Not yet.
Not now.
Not until the truth is told.
Not until accountability is served.

Because resisting tyranny means resisting it even when it wears your team colors.
